Welcome to Flossophy Dental Studio

$99 for your exam, X-rays and cleaning

New patient visits are $99 and include a full examination, the X-rays we need to see what is happening below the surface, and a cleaning. That is the whole price for a healthy mouth - not a teaser that turns into a quote.

If the examination finds something that needs treatment, you get a written plan with costs and your insurance estimate before anything is booked. Nothing gets done at the first visit that you have not agreed to.

Free limited exams and X-rays are available if you have one specific problem you want looked at, and emergency exams are $29*. If you are in pain right now and searching for an affordable dental clinic in Fort Worth that can see you quickly, that $29 emergency exam is designed exactly for you.

Step by Step

What happens at your first appointment

Allow about an hour for a new patient visit. Here is exactly what that hour looks like, in order, so nothing in the chair feels unfamiliar.

01

Paperwork, done quickly

Medical history, medications and insurance details. Arrive five minutes early and this is the only part that feels like admin.

02

Photos, X-rays and a 3D scan

Digital X-rays and intraoral photos, so the examination is based on what is actually there rather than a guess.

03

A proper examination

Teeth, gums, bite, jaw joints, and an oral cancer screening. Dr. Le walks you through the images on the screen.

04

Your cleaning

A hygiene visit with one of our hygienists. If your gums need more than a standard cleaning, we will explain why before proceeding.

05

The plan and the number

Anything that needs doing, in priority order, with costs and your estimated insurance benefit in writing.

06

Book, or go and think

There is no pressure to schedule on the day. Take the plan home. Emergencies are the only thing we push to treat quickly.

Come Prepared

What to bring

A few minutes of preparation before you leave the house makes your first visit faster and your treatment plan more accurate. Here is the short list we ask every new patient to bring along.

  • Photo ID and your insurance card, if you have one.

  • A list of medications you take, including supplements - several affect dental treatment and healing.

  • Your medical history, particularly heart conditions, diabetes, joint replacements, or blood thinners.

  • Any dental appliance you currently wear - night guard, retainer, partial denture.

  • Your previous dentist's name. We will request your records for you; you do not need to chase them.

  • Your questions. Write them down beforehand - it is easy to forget them once you are in the chair.

Questions

New patient questions

The things people ask us most before their first appointment, answered honestly.

How early should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive about five minutes before your scheduled time. That is enough to finish your paperwork, confirm your insurance details, and settle in before we take you back. If this is your first visit and you would rather fill out forms ahead of time, call us at (817) 720-0121 and we will get them to you in advance.

How long does the first visit take?

Allow about an hour. That covers your paperwork, photos and X-rays, a full examination with Dr. Le, your cleaning, and a written plan if anything needs follow-up treatment. Emergency visits for a specific problem, like a toothache or a broken tooth, usually move faster since we are focused on one issue rather than a full new patient workup.

Which office should I book?

Our studio is located at 12740 North Freeway, Fort Worth, TX 76244, United States, easy to reach if you are in Fort Worth, Haltom City, or the surrounding area. You can see the exact directions on our map link, or browse the areas we regularly serve on our areas we serve page and our locations page before you book.

I am nervous about the dentist. What can you do?

Tell us when you book, and tell us again when you arrive. We slow down, explain each step before we do it, and show you the X-ray or photo on the screen so there are no surprises. Nothing gets treated at the first visit without your agreement, and you are welcome to take your written plan home and think it over instead of deciding in the chair.

Do you see children?

Yes, we treat the whole family, and many of our patients bring in kids alongside their own appointments. If you are looking for a family dentistry practice in Fort Worth that can handle a child's first checkup and a parent's cosmetic consult in the same week, our team can take care of both. Mention ages when you book so we can plan the visit accordingly.

What if I need treatment I cannot afford right now?

We will tell you what is urgent versus what can wait, so you are not pressured into paying for everything at once. From there, our in-house membership plan, Cherry, and CareCredit can spread costs into monthly payments with fast approval decisions. Visit our financial page or ask our front desk during your visit, and we will walk through the options together.
